Hello, I’m Serena.
I’m a California-based multidisciplinary designer with over a decade of experience in brand and marketing, with an emphasis in the home and decor sector.
I previously worked at Fireclay Tile, where I most recently led UX initiatives—architecting everything from checkout flows to client portals and visualization tools. My path there included a long tenure as a Senior Graphic Designer, where I led a small yet mighty team of talented designers to define the brand’s visual standards across digital and physical worlds.
I work across a range of design disciplines, from high-fidelity Figma prototypes to complex print production. Organization is my north star, and I "sweat the details" by grounding every creative decision in user research and data-driven strategy.
When I’m not designing, I’m immersed in my side project, Studio Seas, where I create functional hand-thrown ceramics. It’s my creative sanctuary where craftsmanship takes a tactile turn. I like to think of ceramics as UX in physical form—it’s about ergonomics, weight, utility, and the user’s overall emotional connection. See my ceramic creations here.
